If I were to ask you how big your God is, what would you say? Let me suggest this. Your God is as big as your worry list. If you have a lengthy list of worries, you have a small God. If, however your list of worries is short, then your God is big (Small disclaimer here; the Eternal God has always been who He is regardless of our thoughts). According to the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus tells us not to worry. He tells us that we are more important than the birds of the air and the lilies of the field (and look how He provides for them). Jesus also said to seek the kingdom of God first, and all the things we need will be given to us. So, if Jesus told us not to worry (and we believe that He knows what he is talking about), our worry list should be rather small or non-existent. When David faced Goliath, Charles Swindoll said that David saw a big God not a big giant. So, when you see your “giant” remember to look at your God. Because He is really really big!
Big God!
